Within months of Lindsay and Benton reconnecting they knew they had found their forever. From the start of planning, Lindsay and Benton dreamed of a wedding that reflected not only their love for one another, but also their faith. They chose the Balboa Bay Resort in Newport Beach, with its stunning views of the water, as the perfect backdrop for their colorful, joy-filled celebration. Lindsay found her gown at Stanley Korshak, a timeless Carolina Castigliano design that felt like it was made just for her. To make it even more special, while on a trip to London she unexpectedly met the designer herself, who helped her choose a second dress for her rehearsal dinner.
The wedding weekend was filled with intentional moments. The rehearsal dinner welcomed more than 100 guests overlooking the bay, where friends and family shared heartfelt speeches that left the couple feeling deeply loved and supported. The next day, their ceremony was a powerful hour and fifteen minutes of worship, communion, and vows: a true reflection of the couple’s heart for God. As their friends led worship, the music spilled out over the bay, with boats pulling up just to listen, creating an unforgettable atmosphere of joy and reverence.
The reception carried the same spirit of celebration. Guests were welcomed with a stunning floral design that transformed the room into a vibrant garden by the water. Benton and Lindsay shared a choreographed first dance he designed just for them, filling the room with laughter and joy. The evening was made complete with a textured cake as beautiful as it was delicious: almond with Bavarian cream and chocolate hazelnut with Oreo cream.
From beginning to end, Lindsay and Benton’s wedding was a celebration of love, faith, and community. Surrounded by the people who mean the most to them, they began their marriage with joy, intention, and the beauty of God’s presence woven into every detail.
