Tori Burns and Daniel Walker both work in dermatology and met at a work conference. It may not have been love at first sight for either of them, but after their first date, both were charmed by the other. Tori noted that she was drawn to him for his quirky intelligence and wit.
On March 27th, Tori and Daniel were married at the bride’s childhood home in Louisiana. The couple forwent a first look, which made Tori’s walk down the aisle extra special. In the spirit of keeping the celebration intimate and more about the couple, the bride and groom decided against having wedding parties.
The bride wore a Yaniv Persy gown, complete with a flowing cape adorned with delicate floral appliques. Arm in arm with her father, she made her way towards the gazebo where her soon-to-be husband stood. This gazebo was where Daniel had first proposed to Tori, so it was quite a full circle moment seeing the couple say “I do” where they first promised each other to spend forever together.
The couple was beaming as they walked back down the aisle, soaking in those first few moments as husband and wife! Their smiles weren’t dimmed when Louisiana began experiencing tornadoes not far from where their wedding was happening. Kayla Southard from Jackson Southard Events navigated the hiccup with the most poise and ease and still orchestrated a beautiful celebration for the couple.
The rainstorm didn’t stop this celebration and after a quick unexpected gown change, the party commenced with spirits still high! The newlyweds danced the night away with their guests and were ushered into the spring evening through a sparkler-lined exit.
