On Saturday, July 24th as the wind blew, Emily and Trainor said “I do”, at an intimate mountaintop ceremony in Vail. With only a handful of friends and family present (and one very special four-legged attendant), their wedding day was exceedingly sentimental.
Inspired by Carolyn Bessette’s bridal ensemble, Emily looked radiant in a contemporary satin sheath dress. Her bridesmaids also wore satin, in a neutral tone. She was unafraid to gracefully traverse Vail Village with her dog in tow in this polished, no-fuss dress.
Feeling small is an easy thing to do when you’re surrounded by mountains. Humbling themselves before loved ones and nature, Emily and Trainor made sure that their wedding’s main focus was their union itself. With a backdrop so striking and grandiose, they kept things unostentatious at the altar. Two idyllic arrangements of heavenly white blooms by Vintage Magnolia stood on either side of the bride and groom as they exchanged their vows– A beautifully composed complement to the aw-striking scenery behind them.
Simple, understated elegance was the name of the game for these two. The reception was held at Tavern Square, where the newlyweds cut their 90s-inspired cake. Their cake was topped with skillfully piped buttercream flowers in orange and coral hues. Their loved ones enjoyed the scenery and celebrated the newly wed Storeys!
