Brittany and Will Bridges were wed on the first of May. Their wedding day was romantic and refined, and such a privilege to be a part of.
It was all smiles and blonde hair at the DCC as the Fersing girls prepared for the big day. From lounging in their monogrammed robes to final spritzes of perfume after helping Brittany into her wedding dress, these ladies radiated excitement and anticipation. Although the girls weren’t the only ones dancing through the day! Brittany’s father was seldom seen without a smile or a skip in his step, as he relished the opportunity to see his second of three daughters marry the man of her dreams.
Brittany wore an Anne Barge sheath gown with floral appliques laid over an illusion neckline. Her monochromatic bouquet mirrored the detailing on her dress, and was complete with a sentimental touch. The fabric that was wrapped around Brittany’s bridal bouquet was adorned with a piece of lace from her mother’s wedding dress, as well as her twin sister Allie’s monogram and wedding date.
Brittany and Will shared their first dance as a married couple to “The Way She Loves Me” by Cody Johnson as they found it hard to hide their ear-to-ear smiles. As an ode to his late mother, Will danced to “Sweet Caroline” with his grandma, a detail he was certain about seeing through from the moment he proposed.
The dark wooden trimming of the DCC ballroom was softened and effeminized by palatable pastel blues and pinks. Trees brimming with white blossoms canopied over the reception space as guests enjoyed good food, good company, and ogling at the duck hunter’s dream of a groom’s cake.
Such a sweet, spring day watching Brittany and Will become Mr. and Mrs. Bridges! Wishing you both so much happiness in the coming years.
