The primary inspiration for Ali’s bridal luncheon was her dress. The dress that inspired it all was by Rachel Gilbert, an Australian designer whose work caught Ali’s eye. “I stumbled upon her site and fell in love with the dress! I had it like 8 months before the event!!” Ali recalls. Not only did it influence the luncheon’s theme, but also made a stunning statement of its own.
Working with her sister Haylie to plan the luncheon was a breeze for Ali. Being sisters, Haylie has an innate understanding of Ali’s preferences and style. “She obviously knows me so well and can make decisions for me, so honestly, it felt very effortless on my part!” Ali remarks. The weekend was a stress-free experience, allowing Ali to fully immerse herself in the joy of the festivities. Haylie’s expertise in choosing the right team played a crucial role, with Jackson Durham handling all floral and décor to perfection. Since her wedding color palette was neutral, Haylie, and Jacob with Jackson Durham were very excited to add color and girliness to this event! The result was a gorgeous set up of bright blooms and patterned linens.
The luncheon was held at Josephine House, a venue that offered a cozy setting, ideal for Ali’s intimate gathering. “One of my favorite parts of the luncheon was being in such a quaint space with all my favorite ladies!” Ali shared.
