A weekend of showstopping events in Palm Springs was only the warm-up for Tori and Tucker. The wedding day was finally here, a festive finale for the couple and their guests. Under the capable guidance of Todd Events, the wedding wonderland burst with chromatic color, showstopping florals, and festive nods to the holiday.
For a bride who loves color and gave her planners her blessing to make the entire weekend “kind of outrageous,” the ceremony at the Vintage Club was refreshingly soft. The cloud like floral arch in muted pinks and baby’s breath gave the grand entrance a dreamy quality. The bridesmaids wore rose-colored gowns draped in gauzy fur sashes. Tori floated down the aisle in a blush-toned Chanel gown with floral embellishments and a sweeping, ethereal veil. She and Tucker said their vows as golden hour turned to dusk in the desert.
Awaiting inside, Tori’s bold pink-and-red-candy-cane vision came to life. The Todd events team decked every surface in gold tinsel, pink and red stripes, mirrored surfaces, ribbons, and Christmas balls. The venue was, quite literally, wrapped like a gift for the newlyweds.
Guests feasted on decadent passed hors d’oeuvres, grazed at the sushi bar, and clinked cocktail glasses with rose-infused ice cubes. After dinner, friends and family partied all night under a tinsel-trimmed ceiling. They roared when a surprise DJ emerged from a box with a giant red bow.
To add even more flavor to the féte, the couple found playful ways to showcase Tori’s quirky love for (wait for it) bananas. From the flavor of their wedding cake to the groom’s cufflinks, tasteful hints to the bride’s famed obsession were subtly sprinkled throughout the entire weekend. After this wedding, there’s only one way to spell Christmas in Palm Springs: B-A-N-A-N-A-S!
