Caroline and Walker’s wedding weekend in WaterColor, Florida, was more than a celebration; it was a joyful reunion years in the making. The couple met in high school and maintained a long-distance relationship through college, with Caroline at Vanderbilt and Walker playing football at Stanford. Now the two returned to a place that’s long been special to both families to begin their next chapter together. “I always wanted to get married in WaterColor,” Caroline shared.
The weekend kicked off with a rehearsal dinner at Surfing Deer, a nod to the deer who used to roam freely on the beach. For the occasion, Walker’s mom “dressed the statues for the occasion” in hydrangeas, a whimsical touch using one of the wedding’s primary flowers.
With a light green color palette woven throughout, the dinner set the tone for the weekend: crisp, clean, and effortlessly elegant, just like Caroline’s personal style. Guests enjoyed beachy cocktails, fresh local fare, and a series of touching toasts.
“It was such a beautiful and intimate night that set a sweet tone for the weekend,” Caroline shared.
In the company of the bridal party and their families, Caroline and Walker began the weekend just as they intended with warmth, intention, and fun. It was the perfect start to a celebration that would only grow in joy with each passing day.
