Claire and Carson’s West Coast wedding celebration at the La Jolla Country Club was, simply put, a breath of fresh air.
Before the big day, Claire and Carson hosted their friends and family at a number of fabulous events including a boat cruise in lieu of a bridal luncheon. The couple and their loved ones embraced the wedding weekend in style– Claire and Carson glowing in the California sun all the while. Once Saturday rolled around the celebration was already well underway!
Lounging oceanside in linen pajama sets, Claire and her bridal party enjoyed some pampering courtesy of Maitee Miles in preparation for the big day. After a calm morning at home, windows open, Claire’s Peter Langner dress was calling her name. Working with the bridal design team at Neiman Marcus, Claire customized this guipure lace gown, adding a lengthy Lela Rose silk crepe bow. She completed her look with asymmetrical JW Anderson sandals featuring delicate pearl strands and bows.
On the golf course of the La Jolla Country Club overlooking the Pacific Ocean (and through happy tears), Claire and Carson said “I do”. Their ceremony was stylish and incredibly sweet, both of them maintaining a handsome level of poise as always.
Kathleen Deery Design and Easton Events took the already-charming La Jolla Country Club and accented it tastefully with limelight hydrangeas, understated blue hues and touches of greenery. The bride’s cake was a whimsical pop of color in the otherwise earth-toned ballroom, and was wheeled out to the middle of the dancefloor on cue. The round cake table was framed perfectly by the gold trimming of the dancefloor encircling it.
With each side of the ballroom open to the evening ocean breeze, guests danced in the moonlight and sipped on cocktails while looking out on the California coastline. We would be remiss not to mention how West Coast Music took a great party and made it an absolutely unbeatable event… We mean really took it from a 10 to an 11.
Claire traded her white ensemble for a more overtly feminine, late night look. She changed into a puff-sleeved mini dress decked in pearl pink studs and wore pink Jimmy Choo sandals. She and Carson were showered with lavender as they made their grand exit as husband and wife. Thank you for letting us be part of this beautiful day, Mr. and Mrs. Riggans!
