On May 7th, 2022, Fallon and Alex were married in a springtime garden party inspired celebration. Above the altar were hanging floral arrangements that appeared as if they were floating mid-air. The oak trees on either side of the aisle were covered in pink and orange flowers sprawled across the trunk and branches. Before the ceremony, Fallon did a first-look with her father, where he showed her a surprise he had made for her. The inside liner of his coat was customized with photos of him and Fallon. “My dad was so excited to put together his coat. It was pictures of him and I over the years! It was so special and so much fun”. After portraits with her bridesmaids and family, it was off to get married!
Fallon entered the ceremony venue with her father in a horse drawn carriage, like something out of a real life fairytale. Fallon’s father proudly walked her down the aisle to give her away to Alex. After officially becoming Mr. and Mrs. Dalton, the happy couple recessed in a flurry of rose petals!
The wedding took place at Fallon’s home, which made the day incredibly meaningful to her. “Over 30 years ago my mom got ready for her wedding at that same house, and it was really special to me knowing I would get ready for our wedding at the very same place. Having all of our family and friends gather at a place that is so special was just unbelievable.”
Out on the lawn was a grand tent that hosted the reception. At the entrance stood a wall covered in greenery and china. The plates, from Fallon’s Grandma Keane, were printed with table numbers. Many of the silver, china and furniture pieces belonged to her mom. All of the personal touches gave the reception an at-home feel. A chest of drawers sat under the plates with velvet chairs on either side. For the floral arrangements, Petals Couture used the family’s vessels, her own tea cups, trays, candelabras, and rose bowls. They used a variety of flowers including coral charm peonies, butterfly ranunculus, juliet garden roses, and snapdragons. Touches of hydrangea and hanging amaranthus were added to fill vases dotting the reception. The floral prints, color palette and tea cups all fit the aesthetic of any LoveShackFancy lover’s dream!
String lights hung from the tent above, glowing as the sun set and the party began! Guests were fully energized courtesy of Arthur’s coffee bar. “We wanted to make sure there was a special place for our dog Arthur, so Molly at Pop Parties helped us create the Arthur coffee bar. We are so obsessed with our dog!” The night was filled with laughs, toasts and dancing with the Dalton’s. At the end of the evening, Fallon and Alex took off amidst a tunnel of guests sporting pink and green flags for their alma mater, University of Oklahoma. They jumped on the back of a golf cart and off they went!
Congratulations Fallon and Alex!
