Colorful Colorado holds a special significance to Caroline Stephens and Daniel Merrill. It’s where the couple first vacationed together, where they got engaged, and where they one day hope to raise a family. In the midst of their hectic lives in medicine, they are able to come find peace and rest in this beautiful state. This made it the perfect setting for the couple to say “I do.”
After meeting on a mission trip to Costa Rica in high school, their paths crossed again when they were both assigned to the same medical school in San Antonio. For the first two years they remained close friends, until they decided to give dating a shot in their third year – and here we are today!
The couple wished for their wedding to be elegant and intimate, with their family and faith rooted in all the details. The pianist at their ceremony also played at Caroline’s parents wedding reception and had a special relationship with her grandparents as well.
Their ceremony was held in an opening that overlooked a majestic mountain range. It was a blissfully breathtaking view for the guests to take in as they applauded the new Mr. and Mrs. Merrill!
After the ceremony, the couple and their guests made their way to the Four Seasons Vail to partake in an evening of autumnal jubilee. Plum Sage Floral adorned the space with warm sophisticated blooms that respected the natural beauty of the outdoors.
Fresh s’mores were offered to the guests as a nightcap before a grand confetti-filled exit was orchestrated for Caroline and Daniel. The newly minted couple bade their loved ones goodbye and waved farewell to their delightful wedding!
