Over a year after their candle-lit proposal at Le Bilboquet, Robert and Olivia said “I do” under a canopy of the Hawaiian palm trees.
Olivia and Robert hosted only their immediate families for the island affair. Although the guest list remained intimate, the immense joy of the occasion was unmistakable.
Olivia wore a strapless silk faille Carolina Herrera gown as she approached the altar, her father beaming by her side in a custom suit courtesy of the groom. It was important to Olivia and Robert to incorporate both of their faiths in the ceremony. In succession, each of their brothers recited a prayer honoring both Jewish and Catholic traditions. As the chuppah drapery swayed in the island breeze, Robert and Olivia exchanged their sacred vows. Their ceremony was elegant and especially sentimental.
With the muddled crashes of the Pacific ocean against the cliffs around them, family members of the bride and groom applauded as they were announced Mr. and Mrs. Solimani.
Overlooking the ocean at the Kapalua Cliff House, the Trevinos and Solimanis enjoyed an evening of toasts and laughter. The newlyweds shared their first dance on the wrap-around deck, the Hawaiian coastline serving as their picturesque backdrop. A quiet night among the most important people in their lives, Robert and Olivia were graciously welcomed into married life.
Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Solimani! The best is yet to come!
