Lonestar Southern blogger Kate Padgitt is known for her preppy, Southern style—from monograms to Lily Pulitzer to her bubbly, hospitable demeanor. When Kate got engaged, we were thrilled she asked us to be apart of her and Andrew’s wedding day! Their wedding emphasized Kate’s personal aesthetic with wedding details in every shade of pink, a monogram on EVERYTHING, a classic Audrey Hepburn-esque wedding gown, and a smile a mile wide all day long. Every wedding guest kept reiterating our exact feelings when they said, “this wedding is just so THEM.”
Kate met Andrew at the end of the aisle at Park Cities Baptist Church, the church Kate always dreamt of saying ‘I do’. Her father walked her down the blue carpet to meet Andrew to become #Bowmanandwife. Although it rained, Kate and Andrew didn’t hesitate to take their first portraits as a Mr. and Mrs. outside the chapel before heading to the fun and festive Northwood Club. Awaiting them at the club was a pink and white floral-filled ballroom ready to celebrate the newlyweds. Kate loves a monogram just as we do, so her and Andrew had their first dance on the white dance floor boasting the pink monogram seen on all their wedding details—one of our favorite touches!
