Morgan Wenske wed at Austin Country Club, but selected Laguna Gloria for her bridal portrait location. This was our second visit to the estate-turned-museum and it was as inspirational as the last. The natural light, Mediterranean architecture, and lakeside views provide ample vignettes for bridal portraits worthy of hanging above the mantel.
Morgan’s bridal look, and wedding, was a contemporary take on traditional fashion. Her ball gown made of stunning jacquard fabric featured a flattering neckline teetering between v-neck and sweetheart. She carried an orchid and calla lily bouquet accenting the same modern lines of her gown. These modern accents amongst the Lake Como-inspired gardens brought a sense of new traditionalism making these portraits truly timeless.
