It was an all pink party in honor of the Echols! Madison and Bryce tied the knot on May 28th, 2023 in Austin, Texas. The Echols first met as freshmen at Ole Miss. In April of 2022, they took the next step in their relationship and got engaged! Bryce proposed to Madison at the Cheekwood Gardens in Nashville, Tennessee, where they now live. “Bryce called all our best friends and family and secretly had them fly into Nashville to surprise us! He had to get super creative since I often tried ruining the surprise. Up to our wedding, that was our favorite day!” Madison shared. A year after getting engaged, Madison and Bryce said “I do”.
Growing up in Austin, Madison always knew she wanted to be married there. “I was in awe when I saw videos and pictures of my venue, the Arlo. I loved the grand white space, the tall ceilings, and the Texas Hill Country influence. I immediately fell in love with the venue during our first visit and knew we had found where we were to get married.” Madison worked with Pearl Events to transform the Arlo into a pink paradise. She had always dreamed of having an elegant wedding filled with lots of flowers and pink! Bouquets of Austin brought her vision to life with an incredible floral structure stemming from the ceiling and connecting to the bar. From the chandelier hung strands of flowers and sparkling crystals draping from above. Surrounding the velvet pink seating areas were bunches of pink baby’s breath and beautiful glass candelabras. A show stopping element of the decor was the cake, standing nine tiers tall. In between each tier of cake was an acrylic layer filled with pink roses. While the majority of the wedding was pink, Bryce had a custom groom’s bar as a nod to one of his favorite spots from his time at Ole Miss, Rafters. “It was so fun to create his own space! The dark room with disco lights was so fun for everyone, especially all our friends from college! Bryce already has his custom Rafters sign hung up in our garage and is determined to recreate the bar there!”
For the reception, Madison changed into a sparkly mini dress from Bronx and Banco perfect for dancing. A highlight of the evening for the Echols was their first dance. “Bryce was not thrilled about the idea of dance lessons initially, but soon we looked forward to them and had a blast at every practice! The song we danced to, “Then” by Brad Paisley, has been our song for over five years, and we often play and sing it to each other. Dancing to that song in front of our favorite people was surreal.”
The evening celebrating the Echols came to a close with an exit amongst cold sparks as they made their getaway. Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Echols!
