It was a coastal inspired affair on the East Coast for Taylor and Chris’ rehearsal dinner at Montage Palmetto Bluff! The Severs drew inspiration from the captivating surroundings of Palmetto Bluff for their dinner decor. “Drawing from the elements we selected a lush green that mirrored the Spanish moss trees and hints of blue from the marsh that surrounded us. The oyster shell garland is very representative of the local cuisine. Our vision was to create an immersive experience that captured the essence of Palmetto Bluff.” Taylor shared.
The rehearsal dinner was held at Moreland Landing, the same location that Chris proposed to Taylor at. Before welcoming guests, Taylor and Chris took a boat ride to soak in the moment together just the two of them. “We cruised around and a family of dolphins surprised us on our boat ride, which was truly magical. We got dropped off at our venue Moreland Landing. The same dock where Chris proposed!”
For dinner, Taylor wore a gorgeous mini dress from Net-a-Porter by Alex Perry which she paired with Jimmy Choo shoes and earrings from Sophie Bille Brahe.
As friends and family arrived via trolly, a buggy full of whiskey stood at the entrance for their guests to grab a drink. The evening was spent sharing speeches and exploring the property’s tree house. “We loved hearing the speeches from the people we hold near and dear to us. I was excited to see guests explore the treehouse. Climbing up the stairs makes you feel like a kid again and the view from the top is gorgeous. Everyone from the wedding was invited to the rehearsal dinner and it was a great opportunity to welcome our guests to the venue and show them a place that means a lot to Chris and I.”
