Omni Barton Creek has never been more pink!
Brittney’s trumpeted Monique Lhuillier gown featured delicate bunches of jewel-encrusted blooms. Her dress was a fantastic feminine complement to her pink-over-everything wedding aesthetic.
Brittney and Derek hosted their wedding ceremony in The Pavilion, with white garden chairs and an aisle lined with planter boxes brimming with peonies and baby pink roses. The ceremony went off without a hitch (save a very cute, aimless ringbearer wandering down the aisle about halfway through), and the room cheered as Derek lifted his now wife off of the altar platform and held her hand as they recessed.
The two snuck away from the crowd for some stunning sunset portraits, with the rolling hills of Barton Creek serving as their idyllic backdrop. Over at cocktail hour, glasses of champagne were passed through a wall of boxwoods at the ring of a bell.
The Brazos Ballroom was draped floor to ceiling in a soft (but unmistakable) shade of pink. The design throughout was a balance of playful and elegant with blooms of pink aplenty, metallic accents and candle light. Everything was rosy as far as the eye could see.
The dance floor at this wedding was seldom spacious, and Blind Date made sure to play to their crowd’s taste, even going so far as to perform ‘Let It Go’ for Brittney’s nieces and ‘Louisiana Saturday Night’ to accommodate their family’s roots.
The Whitings were swept away through sparklers on a golf cart and the night was over all too soon! We’re wishing you all the best, Brittney and Derek!
