Jayme and Cameron’s reception space featured some spruced up Colorado classics. Rambunctious wildflowers and understated feathers were the perfect, most spirited accents to the natural charm of the Pine Creek Cookhouse.
Before the celebration, it was an emotional morning at home. Jayme, along with her family and friends couldn’t quite hold it together as the weight of the long-anticipated day set in. Looking beautiful and bridal in her Romona Keveza gown and heirloom earrings, Jayme absolutely stunned and reduced everyone in the household to tears. Having grown up going to Aspen as a family every year, the space and setting for this day was especially poignant for the Kravits family.
Having known each other peripherally as children, Cameron and Jayme reconnected after she returned to Dallas in 2017 and there was an immediate spark. One spark to the next, and before you knew it, the two were preparing for their first look as bride and groom on their wedding day. In a secluded pocket of Aspen trees, the two shared an intimate and tearful moment together in the calm before the (quite literal) storm.
Even the rain couldn’t muddle the beauty of this picturesque Colorado wedding day. In a moment of dramatic irony, the skies opened up just as the wedding party and family began to process into the ceremony space. White umbrellas were quickly dispersed and flung open, though not a soul stirred from their view of the floral-lined chuppah. Jayme walked arm in arm with her parents in her platform Prada heels, as a light rain fluttered amidst them. Amazingly, once Cameron and Jayme met at the chuppah, the rain almost immediately ceased.
Rabbi Stern, a person very special to the couple, oversaw their marriage ceremony. Behind them was all the wonder of the mountainous terrain of Colorado as well as their artfully done Ketubah. Once officially wed, Cameron and Jayme’s closest friends and family made the short trek over to the Pine Creek Cookhouse for a restaurant-style dinner and family-style merriment.
Brightly colored dahlias scattered each table, and feathers were strewn about the antler chandeliers. This night was centered around having quality time with all of the special people in Jayme and Cameron’s lives, and what a beautiful evening of fellowship it was.
What a worthwhile trip to the mountains to celebrate the Burks. We’d do it again in a heartbeat! All the best to you, Jayme and Cameron!
