Is there anything more quintessentially Southern than a pristine white farmhouse? It’s hugged all around by a wide open front porch and capped with a sloping metal roof. Sprawling green fields and stately old trees texture the background, as the blue skies sprawl infinitely overhead.
This is where Abbey and Hudson said their vows, in a place that felt like home on Hudson’s aunt and uncle’s farm. “It is the epitome of the beauty of Tennessee, and a place we love to visit and spend time together,” Abbey said.
Just like the farmhouse itself, the affair was all at once homey and grand, with an elevated southern flair. Abbey was glowing in a classic Anne Barge gown accented with soft floral lace. Lillian’s Floral Studio displayed romantic florals in soft peach, deep purple, creamy yellow, and delicate pink, creating eye-catching statements throughout the outdoor ceremony and tented reception. Look closely and you’ll see the couple’s dogs, Dottie and Clark, gracing the cocktail napkins.
Long candlelit tablescapes stretched beneath the glowing tent, while soft patterned linens by Nuage Design offered a formal touch. Abbey shared, “With the help of our incredible wedding planner Molly Sohr, we planned a day that feels true to who we are and is centered on being together and celebrating. It feels like the culmination of all our favorite things – people, setting, food, music, and of course, all the small details.”
