Caroline and Colson’s love story began their senior year at Texas A&M and unfolded into a heartfelt celebration that perfectly reflected their joy and intentionality. They tied the knot at the beautiful Robert Carr Chapel and danced the night away at the City Club of Fort Worth on a sunny February day just after Valentine’s.
Caroline’s bridal look was timeless: her strapless gown transformed with a custom lace jacket, complete with buttons trailing down the back. With blush-toned bridesmaids’ dresses and classic black suits for the groomsmen, the entire wedding party struck a romantic, southern balance.
What made this wedding feel extra special were the deeply personal touches layered throughout. Caroline carried a blue handkerchief embroidered with her new initials and had her great-grandmother’s ring tied to her bouquet, continuing a tradition among her cousins. At the ceremony, a single rose marked the seat of her late grandfather, and seven grandparents were in attendance: an incredibly rare and meaningful blessing that the couple did not take for granted.
Those quiet, giddy minutes quickly turned into a full-blown celebration with a dance floor full of friends, music they love (including some two-stepping nods to their college roots), and whimsical reception props. True to Caroline’s personality and needs, the menu was entirely gluten-free, and the party was filled with playful touches like hats that read “Gluten Free Queen” and “It’s Always Been You,” along with fun wigs for the bridesmaids to really get the dance floor going.
Surrounded by their guests, the couple was intentional about soaking in each moment. From a sweet first dance to meaningful family traditions and the undeniable joy captured in their smiles, Caroline and Colson’s wedding was a true reflection of their love: deep, thoughtful, and full of fun.
