Everybody wishes their wedding could last forever. This one was no exception, and lucky for us, Hanna and Fritz squeezed every last drop out of this three day spectacular. In a private ceremony at HPUMC on Thursday May 20th, Hanna and Fritz officially became Mr. and Mrs. Deichert. This intimate service was understated but poignant, and just the beginning of a weekend of celebrations.
The following night, the Deichert family hosted a Texas-sized rehearsal dinner at Gilley’s Dallas. Hanna wore star-studded Miron Crosby boots under a floor-length pleated skirt. The layers of tulle trailed behind as Fritz spun her around the rooftop deck at sunset. Each of them proudly sported the initials of the other on their custom cowboy boots, one of our favorite details of the evening.
The wedding festivities reached a culmination on Saturday evening, and what a grand finale it was. Upon entering the Ritz-Carlton ballroom, loved ones ogled at the cherry blossom-lined aisle. The altar was framed by a breathtaking wall of bright white orchids and roses. The design of Hanna and Fritz’s ceremony space was immersive. Complementing the extravagance of the room, Hanna’s stunning Ines di Santo silk crepe gown wowed as she emerged arm in arm with her father. Flurries of silk ruffles trailed behind her. Wed with witnesses aplenty this time, the roar of celebration carried the Deicherts as they recessed hand in hand.
The exuberant voices of a gospel choir greeted guests as they filed into cocktail hour. A sizable canvas was stationed in place of a sign-in book, and guests were encouraged to paint their well wishes to the newlyweds.
The cherry blossoms and tree canopies found their ways to tabletops and spaces in-between, and it was time to welcome everyone back into the ballroom.
Dancing and mingling through their reception, Hanna and Fritz still found time for a few outfit changes. Upon changing into her second look of the evening, a sleek open-back sheath dress, Hanna traded her Jimmy Choo heels for a pair of Air Jordans. She returned to the party ready for anything in the baby blue and white kicks. A matching pair for Fritz found their way to the dance floor as well. The groom being a die-hard Texas Rangers fan, their final aesthetic accoutrements was a no-brainer. The newlywed’s matching “Deichert” jerseys were the finishing touch; the prize in the Cracker Jack if you will. After swapping his suit for the tie-dye t-shirt he proposed in, Fritz pulled off one last outfit change before grazing on ballpark snacks with his favorite teammate.
Hanna and Fritz spent the evening at the heart of the reception, the life of a very lively party. Getting to capture this entire weekend of wedded bliss was a joy, and we’re wishing nothing but the best for these two! Thank you for an amazing weekend, Mr. and Mrs. Deichert!
