Mr. & Mrs. Winterton Wed at Arlington Hall

Brookie and Brent’s wedding at Arlington Hall was a breathtaking celebration filled with love, elegance, and surrounded by their nearest and dearest. Inspired by a wedding Brookie had seen a few years ago, the couple chose Arlington Hall for its versatility and enchanting ambiance. “I saw a wedding in a tent with hanging lights and thought it was so beautiful,” Brookie shared. Arlington Hall provided the perfect setting for their wedding day.

The overall theme was one of natural elegance, with stunning hydrangeas adorning the space. “The hanging lights in the tent were a must-have, and the flower halo above the dance floor was a last-minute decision that made everything so much better,” Brookie mentioned. Another standout element was the grand floral arch at the altar, the largest ever done indoors at Arlington Hall. “It turned out way better than I expected,” Brookie said, marveling at the impressive structure that added an outstanding touch to the ceremony.

Despite weather concerns and a tornado watch, the ceremony in the tent turned out beautifully, with Brent’s vision of a clean, white look and draping between the columns adding a touch of sophistication. Brookie noted, “Brent had a lot of say in having the patio carpeted white for a clean, unified look.”

One of the most memorable moments for Brookie was seeing Brent at the end of the aisle. “I was so excited to see him all day, and he was a little teary when I looked at him. It was everything I ever wanted,” she said. The couple’s first dance to “Yours” by Russell Dickerson was another highlight, setting the tone for a night filled with dancing and joy.

Brookie also cherished the time spent getting ready with her bridesmaids at the Mansion. “Being with all the girls all morning was just so fun, especially seeing friends I hadn’t seen in a long time,” she reminisced.
