Highschool sweethearts Natalie and Hunter were recently wed at the Crescent Hotel in Dallas, Texas. The pair first met in 2013. “We had actually gone to school with each other for years but never really knew each other. Hunter and I ‘officially’ met in 2013 at a Tim McGraw concert.” In late February, 2022, Hunter proposed to Natalie at the same spot their wedding would be held at just over a year later, the Crescent. “He first told me we were going to a nice dinner to get me dressed up. Before dinner, he took me to get drinks before at the Crescent, which is so cool to me now since that would become our wedding venue. Upon leaving the Crescent to allegedly go to dinner, he made a “wrong turn”, which was unusual for him, and parked at Marie Gabrielle.Thankfully it had just finished raining! He led me up the stairs and took me to a lit up walkway and quickly got on one knee. We didn’t end up going to dinner afterwards – he surprised me with an engagement party with all of our closest friends and family!”
On April 1st, 2023, Natalie and Hunter said “I do” at Perkins Chapel. It was the perfect day for a wedding, a warm day in Dallas with family and friends. After the ceremony, guests gathered at the crescent for dinner and dancing with the Lawrences. The Crescent is an incredibly meaningful spot to Natalie because her parents had their wedding reception there 34 years ago. Natalie’s vision for decor was inspired by a flower market in Paris. “There were hydrangeas everywhere! There were so many different colors, but my favorites were the blue and white.” Garden Gate Floral designed Natalie and Hunter’s flowers for the weekend and Social Graces coordinated event planning. Natalie wanted a soft, timeless look with a pop of color for her reception decor, which Social Graces helped her achieve.
The highlight of the party for Natalie was her and Hunter joining the band on stage. It was an incredible night in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence! Congratulations Natalie and Hunter!
