Two days before snow flurries arrived in Colorado, Matt arrived to the Garden of the Gods to photograph soon-to-be bride and groom, Brighton Keller and Duncan Butler. The engaged couple recently transitioned from Dallas to Denver so their engagement portraits provided an exciting opportunity to photograph the couple in the beautiful destination they now call “home”. The Garden of the Gods offers dramatic views of towering sandstone, Pikes Peak, and—on this dreamy November day—sunny, blue skies. The couple oozed with comfortability as they strolled the national park trails, even when minor rock climbing was necessary to fully embrace the scenery. When laughs are genuine and couples enjoy their “date” together, the photographer’s job becomes simplified. These portraits communicate Duncan and Brighton’s love and a special new milestone in their story. Matt left Colorado excited for the wedding day to come in the new year!
