Cara Martin and Emory Allen met and resided in Colorado before moving to Dallas a few years ago. These avid fly-fishers, hikers, and outdoors people frequently sail the ‘Bluebonnet’ out on White Rock Lake as a way to appease their adventuring spirits here in Texas. They keep their sailboat docked at White Rock Boat Club and sail her on the water (usually with their two dogs) as often as possible—making this location natural for their engagement portraits.
Throughout the entire session, they seemed relaxed, at ease, and right at home which made our job too easy! The chilly February temperatures only accented their Colorado-chic style. Our team cannot wait to be alongside Cara and Emory this weekend among the glowing aspen trees as they say ‘I do’ in Vail. Needless to say, there is a lot more of this to come!
