It was a beautiful sunny day at the Dallas Arboretum for the soon-to-be Beggins engagement portrait session! Megan and Chris first met during their sophomore year of college at the University of Texas. They were on a ski trip in Breckenridge when their paths first crossed and found themselves skiing together the entire weekend. From that point on, Megan and Chris were by each other’s sides for the rest of their time at UT and then throughout post grad. After seven years of dating, Chris popped the question the day after Thanksgiving. “I thought he was in Houston but he surprised me at a park where we were going to take my 1 year old niece Christmas card pics!” Megan shared.
For their portraits, Megan wore a purple and white dress from Zimmerman, perfectly matching the blooming surroundings. Later in the session, she changed into a light blue midi dress from Rixo.
Looking back on that day at the Arboretum, Megan shared, “The session was so much fun because the weather was perfect. It was truly the best time of year because the flowers looked amazing.”
As a fun surprise, Emerald City was having a concert that night and started playing while Megan and Chris were taking photos. “They are playing at our wedding in September so that was fun!” she stated.
September can’t come soon enough! Congratulations Megan and Chris!
