Morgan and Kevin’s wedding perfectly captured the idea of timeless elegance, a style inspired by important women in Morgan’s life. “My mother and both of my grandmothers are all classy, elegant women,” Morgan shared. Those were the traits she wanted to channel when planning her wedding day. Undoubtedly, the matriarchs of Morgan’s family passed these traits down to her.
A gold, white, and champagne palette set Morgan’s refined tone. It started with a luxurious invitation suite, designed by Magnolia Boone Paper Company. The couple held the ceremony at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church, where soft light filtered through stained glass windows to highlight the church’s rich gold flourishes. Morgan was a vision in a timeless Reem Acra gown, while Kevin looked sharp in a classic black tuxedo. Together, they were beautifully framed by a bridal party in elegant tones of champagne and black.
After the ceremony, the tent at Arlington Hall glowed in layers of white, champagne, and gold. Above, floral halos crowned chandeliers. Dainty, gold-leafed florals dotted the linens. One of the couple’s favorite moments of the day was their entrance into the reception, overlooking their friends and family. Morgan and Kevin were struck with the love that filled the room. “All these people are here for us!” they gushed. “It was a really cool moment.”
Every timeless wedding also captures personal details. Morgan wore diamond earrings made from a sentimental bracelet her dad had given her mom. Morgan and Kevin’s dog, Dolly, made a charming feature on the cocktail napkins.
To Morgan, the most important element in planning her wedding was that her guests enjoy the day. From fabulous food to the energy from Taylor Pace Band, Morgan wanted to treat her guests to a night to remember. “I just wanted everyone to have the best time ever!” she exclaimed. Mission accomplished.
