In recent years, brides have been foregoing one bridal gown option and instead selecting two, or even more in some cases, a dress for the ceremony and a dress for the reception. The ceremony dress is usually the showstopper, with its full skirt and long dramatic train. While the reception dress is something more wearable and allows the bride to greet her guests with ease and dance the night away when she’s ready.
It seems that these dresses always hold a stronger sense of modernity as opposed to the ceremony dress. We often see sleeker silhouettes and sharper angles that bring a youthful energy to party. It’s always a fun surprise for us to see these outfit changes as most of the time they are unexpected to us! We hope you’ll enjoy a selection of some of our favorites!
