Ashley and Jamie’s wedding celebration started as so many do. Surrounded by their most-beloved family and friends, the bride and groom spent their mornings primping and excitedly anticipating what was to come
In addition to wearing her mother’s stunning sapphire earrings, Ashley also wrapped her bouquet in a portion of her mother’s wedding dress— a sentimental touch also featured in her sister’s wedding just eight months prior.
Ashley’s strapless Carolina Herrerra gown was overlaid with a delicate floral lace. Her dress was a perfect complement to the sophisticated white blooms lining the pews and altar. Her trumpeted train trailed behind her as she recessed arm in arm with her now husband, their smiles impossible to contain.
Over at the DCC, the ballroom had been converted into a heavenly space. The voices of a gospel choir rejoiced among the trellis and blossoms as guests entered the celebration of the newly wed Taliaferros. The ballroom was draped in white and decked in light, unobtrusive tones of blue and grey. All white floral arrangements were dotted with soft periwinkle tweedia and pale pink peonies.
Amid the celebration, Ashley and Jamie’s cake was wheeled onto the dancefloor to be cut by the bride and groom. Brimming with florals as delicate and fresh as the cake itself, this bride’s cake was quite the breathtaking spectacle.
