When we asked planner Mary Wright Shah of Diamond Affairs what to expect of Warren Barron‘s re-opening party, she responded, “It will be sexy!” Elle Warren and Cecilia Flores-Barron, the women behind Warren Barron Bridal, know a bride should #beunforgettable (via the hashtag they most frequently use) so it only makes sense their affair was just that. As this was a re-opening, they adopted a metamorphosis theme with a burlesque spin. Butterfly details were found on the walls, on costumes, and on the tables in strictly black detail. Wedding industry professionals mixed and mingled as live performers played violin and paraded down the staircase that sits at the front of the long, candle-lit tables.
As guests took their seats (and snapped endless shots for their Instagram), the entertainment only heated up. The performers began in bridal gowns and tuxedo suits with top hats, moved to an ensemble of dancers in pearl-clad lingerie and feathered fans (White Christmas ‘Sisters’ performance came to mind), proceeding with white embellished corsets with beaded fringe and above the elbow white gloves—which got removed finger by finger—before the violinist finished the evening a top the staircase. We would describe this fabulous dinner with three words: swanky, sophisticated, and yes, sexy.
Made possible by so many talented wedding vendors all listed below. We are so excited for the women of Warren Barron Bridal and hope brides move swiftly to visit their newly renovated salon to become a #WBbride.
