It was the twenty fifth night of September when Allison and Neal hosted their open-air, Arboretum nuptials.
A favorite detail for bride and groom alike, Neal’s grandfather served as the officiant for the couple’s ceremony. Framed by the lush green canopy of the Lay Family Garden, The Robinson family patriarch led a beautiful service, capitalizing on the poignance of the union. Allison and Neal held each other’s hands while consciously absorbing words of wisdom, advice and hope.
Once Allison and Neal were officially pronounced Mr. and Mrs. Robinson, they scurried away for a few stunning portraits at sunset. Guests filed to the lawn of the Alex Camp House where string lights were hung above intimate table settings. Each table was adorned with white floral and gilded details. Golden hour was especially magical this evening, with benevolent light reflecting off the lake.
Allison and Neal’s reception truly was a celebration. At any given time, the dance floor was abundantly occupied, and the lawn was brimming with mingling and well wishes for the newlyweds. After a late night outfit change, Mrs. Robinson strutted out with her now husband, and they rode off into wedded bliss!
