A ‘first look’ is a fairly new tradition in the wedding day timeline. For years, it was traditionally considered a bad omen for a groom to see his bride before the wedding ceremony. Today, a ‘first look’ between a bride and groom has become quite common and popular. This means a groom first sees his bride in a private moment, away from the wedding day hustle and bustle, instead of when the chapel doors open. Creating time for this moment can give a bride and groom freedom to laugh, cry, and be overwhelmed together before the ceremonies and festivities begin. The initial reaction of the couple seeing each other for the first time is such a joy-filled moment our team captures!
