In the breezeless, Texas heat, we dream of entertaining poolside on an exquisitely, manicured lawn in beautiful (and cool!) East Hampton. The village overflows with ‘hosts with the most’ so we consistently strive to embody a similar aesthetic when setting the table. With the help of Juliska, our W. Lovers Lane studio mirrored a scene you’d most likely find on Lily Pond Lane (the East Hampton street Martha Stewart resides) during brunch hours.
We paired the registry staple ‘Berry & Thread’ plates with ‘Classic Bamboo’ chargersand salad plates set atop Straw Loop Placemats. Alongside the setting, Amalia champagne coupes served up the rosè bubbly. Because is it really brunch without a glass of Veuve?
Lastly, we know, candles don’t belong at brunch! But can you blame us? The flickering beige tapered candles on the Juliska Amalia candlestick added subtle warmth and sophistication to the dreamy scene. The lush centerpiece full of garden roses, gardenias, baby lace hydrangea, and fluffy peonies from our friend’s at Jackson Durham pulled the entire table together—as it was fresh from our Hampton garden.
We hope this ‘Bamboo Brunch’ inspires your bridal shower, wedding table, or the next time you host as a newlywed—shop each Juliska piece below. Don’t forget to check out our favorite blue and white tablescape here!
