Whether it’s the somber smirks shared before the chapel doors open, or the tears he fights back upon seeing his little girl all grown up and in a white dress… Moments shared between a bride and her father on her wedding day are truly a privilege to capture!
If there’s something a father is cognizant of from the moment his daughter is born, it’s her wedding day. Somehow though, despite years of visualization, this day sneaks up on so many dads and always seems to come ‘too soon’. George Banks surely echoes in every father’s mind as he approaches the altar, “Who presents this woman? This woman? But she’s not a woman, she’s just a kid”! The emotion that seems to bubble up in these otherwise-collected men is truly poignant, but is surely whisked away by the time there’s an audience! Dancing to that song they’ve sung together for years, the smiles slapped on their faces exceed any in prior existence. A rollercoaster of emotion, these are surely some of the most special moments of their lives!
